okay, OS-like websites have been out of fashion for 20 years or so, why everyone started making them again

It feels like Claude Code became even better. Basically one shots everything without doing any harm to an existing code base (which was a huge problem for me). Feels like future.

At the API layer Haiku is still better than GPT-5 nano/mini. Hits a sweet spot of performance vs latency.

The worst ai slop is generated anime films. Offends me the most for some reason.

ChatGPT is so slow. Almost unusable for small daily tasks.

That's a great take. It is always easier to 'land' a great idea within constraints, then to come with an idea by thinking about constraints right from the start.

Designing in medium fidelity with slightly detached components

In my experience, "high problems" are just ways the organizations operates. They create value and friction at the same time. If a problem persists, it's probably a side effect of something that provides real value. So it's not going away any time soon.

A lot of people shaping the design tool narrative don't actually understand design. Every release, the same noise. Random takes for the algorithm. Just do what feels right. Use the tools you need to make great work
