Great job today Bay High baseball. Very proud of our 1st games of fall season. To go toe to toe with 2 of the top programs in the state back to back in a DH today was a huge step. No way we even schedule these games a year ago. It's just the beginning of bigger things to come

Major league playoffs. Bunting in the 3rd inning down 2 runs. Why? Announcers say its because it's the playoffs. They have to win now.. Ok.

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to all my family and friends, also to my players, present and past, and their families!

All of my HS players arms are sore (3) weeks in to our throwing program. Me: “This is great, they’re getting stronger and we are on track to be game ready week 1.” Kids and Parents: complaining and panic… Being sore is part of the process… feeling good “All THE TIME” means

Hitters Refuse to strikeout Spread out, choke up, take the plate away, grit your freaking teeth, and compete. It's a competition. It's you vs the man on the mound. It's personal

Truth All players should be treated fairly but not the same. The tireless worker with outstanding maturity that is highly reliable, dependable and trustworthy, shouldn't be treated the same as the immature and-or entitled brat that is lazy and has a habit of doing the minimum.

Playing with energy Isn't being a cheerleader in the dugout. Isn't talking shit to the other team. Isn't bat flipping, dancing and acting like a fool. It is, supporting your teammates, backing up bases, running balls out, taking hard turns, taking the extra base, communicating on

One of the best scouts I've ever been around (Tom Kotchman) and one of my mentors always said. I want to see kids play in intersquad games (so called meaningless games) and or practice. Why? He said how they played in low adrenaline environments is who they really are. MLB
