Today I learned you can set Seneca assignments through teams 🤯 Much easier for them to find and to track who's using it.

Took Year 13 through essay feedback today. This time I pre-wrote all my questions and shared my screen so they could see the word document. Minimising disruption from bad wifi signals is key for questioning, especially with more advanced Year Groups 🙌🏻

Decided to write today’s essay question alongside Year 9 to boost motivation in the last week of term. Sent photos through to the chat so they could see how I’d written it. Think it also helped them see how much can be written in the timeframe

Whilst it’s not the same satisfaction of handing in a paper copy, I’m happy to be submitting my assignment to finish up the Research Methods module of my Masters 📝

I've started making an effort to read more educational research, and this was today's. I didn't have many doubts about cold-calling, but this paper shows it increases voluntary participation in university courses. However, would the results be the same in a secondary school?

Has anyone got any strategies to support students to write longer extended pieces of writing? Especially at KS3.
