My God. 12% of ALL NJ nursing home residents died of COVID. The fact that 5% of all Michigan nursing home residents died of COVID would be horror enough.

As a public private utility, HIEs also need to enable the patient right of access. In the time of COVID, that should be a priority, to connect data to patients, and support accountability for how their data is shared with health depts.

This is a cruel policy that penalizes students and universities in support of an anti-science agenda that has politicized our nation's response to #COVID and resulted in innumerable needless deaths already, with many more to come unless we change course! thehill.com/homenews/admin…

Thank you to @ivankatrump for providing me with a picture/anecdote to use in my anti-corruption class this fall to demonstrate a flagrant violation of federal ethics laws.

I for one don’t care whether the president or his congressional enablers put out disingenuous pablum about John Lewis. Pass and sign a voting rights bill. Name it after him. And then we can talk. Actions not empty words. Lewis always led from the front.

When I called Kamala Harris yesterday to ask her to be my running mate, I wanted to make sure Jill and Doug got to say hello. You’re honorary Bidens now!

Trump inherited the longest economic expansion in history from Barack Obama and Joe Biden. And then, like everything else he inherited, he ran it straight into the ground.

Anyone else settling in to read the new MedPAC report? Here's an interesting tidbit: Between 2014-2018, total PER CAPITA health care spending, including cost sharing, grew 24% for the privately insured vs 10% for beneficiaries in traditional Medicare (Figure 1-3)

Is it strange that I actually want to find excuses to go to department/agency offices in DC just to see this picture hanging in every damn building. #WhoRunsTheWorld

From 2005 to 2015, across thousands of police killings, the number of police officers convicted of murder for shooting a person was... Zero.

A testament to #resilience. I had all but given up on my office plants during the last 15 months…. It was touch and go for a bit, but after two weeks, new leaves have sprouted!

For the sake of one of the most important pillars of our democracy, we must put politics aside, step up, and act. The Senate must pass the Freedom to Vote Act and the John Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act.
