Today I had an important curriculum meeting w/ Ferguson’s Principal for the Day, Maggie. We discussed what Curriculum Directors do like collaborating with instructional leaders on resource decisions.She was very confident in recommending what book I should read for Reading Month.

10-25-23 DCTC students from Huron, Grosse Ile, Gibralter, & Riverview visited Brown Elementary to teach our students about career tech education including the marketing, culinary arts, health oc, construction, and auto tech programs.

Today Huron and Transfer students in our DCTC auto body and auto tech programs at HHS experienced the Universal Technical Institute hands on mobile education program today behind HHS.

At tonight's school board meeting Mrs. Handyside, HHS Math and French teacher, was recognized by the board as the HSD 2023-24 Teacher of the Year & nominee for the 24-25 MTOY. Congrats again to Mrs H. You get it - relationships! Your students and family showed up & proved it!
