Students and staff had a very busy day today celebrating World Book Day UK 📚. From posting a book to gift in school, to Year 7 story in a Day, decorating potatoes and spoons into book characters and hunting the literary pairs - it was a lot of fun.

Years 7 and 8 have been set the task on Firefly to recommend a book to Year 6 students joining us in September. You’ll find a template to produce a short and enthusiastic recommendation. R2 for every submitted recommendation. #Readingforpleasure

KS3 students must register for #Battleofthebooks via Firefly by 24th May. Books will be announced and ready for collection after half term. The battle will take place on Thursday 18th July#readingforpleasure
