In rather exciting news today I secured a band 6 perinatal psychiatric nurse role! 😁😁😁 🎉🎉

Any of my followers know of any strategic type roles going in either maternity/perinatal lived experience work or for nursing staff? I really need to try and top up my income but bank shifts are harder to work around the kids and I miss the strategic roles I’ve had in the past!

Last ever day at nursery tomorrow for this one! I’m so not ready for this era in my life to be over 😭

A good nursery is worth its weight in gold for so many reasons! Ours have been part of the family for the last 4 years, always ask for career updates & thanks to the amazing outdoor space for socialising after pick up I’ve made mum friends for life 💜

Just finished this book and oh my goodness what a read! Finished it with a lump and a tear in my eye! Takes a lot for a book to get me but it was incredible! Definitely recommend if anyone’s looking for a good holiday read!!

This is groundbreaking! Those who have been in crisis know how hard it can be to reach out. Having a 24/7 service where people can call as & when they feel ready will make it so much easier to access support! 💜

Birth trauma definitely shapes your whole family! I was diagnosed with secondary tokophobia in my 2nd pregnancy because of my traumatic birth with symptoms so awful I’ve never spoken about them despite all of the millions of lived experience talks I’ve given!

First day of reception & year 4 done! She of course smashed it like the strong girl she is! Already making career plans & child care arrangements (apparently I’m having them on my day off on a Monday 😂) so proud of her (and me) for getting through it!! 🙌🏻

Todays final preceptorship session with Oxford Health NHS FT and we got a very cute little gift. Even better I also got my masters module results & was very relieved to get a distinction! Now toying with what my next module could be 😜

Lovely coffee catch up with the fabulous Dr Karen Bateson to talk through ideas now we’re both working in the same part of the country! 😊 Nothing makes me happier than working with people who are as passionate as me about making things better for new families 💜💜

First Monday with both kids in school all day so soaking up the last of the summer rays having a pub lunch with friends who also have Mondays off! 😂 😍
