Today, the Ministry of Education provided school boards in Ontario with a guidance document outlining requirements for reopening schools in September. SCDSB staff will review the document & consult with the @SMDHealthUnit. Details will be shared with families later this month.

Here are 4 mindsets teachers can adopt to reframe math as a creative, empowering tool that’s relevant to everyday life.

Teachers should effectively teach students how to work together as a team. However, students should also be given enough space to solve their own conflicts and learn how to socialize with each other, with the teacher acting as a mentor that trusts them to do the right thing.
