Today we had the privilege to capture youth from Furr High School and Pleasantville Elementary working hand in hand to restore, reclaim, & reconnect with the mother earth. Thank you to all the students, staff, & youth leaders for allowing us to capture the power & beauty of today.

Week 4! Today media interns interviewed members of Project Respect. They are dedicated to bring awareness to sacred sites and cemeteries in Texas. Together we will collectively and proactively capture our shared Houston History. #houstonvoices

Today t.e.j.a.s. & Furr High School interns captured a day at Casa Morales, a local family owned restaurant that has been open for 20+ years. We had the privilege to learn more about The Morales family history in Houston & their roots to Mexico.

Today we ended week 5 with a bike ride around the barrio. Throughout the week we continued to film in the community from 5th ward to the East End. We had the honor meet & film Alma from Casa Morales, Woody from Project Respect, & Dona Maria a community Chef.
