While we are always proud of our athletes who gain honors for their game play the smile widens considerably when they are honored for their academic achievements! The true measure of an athlete includes not only skill but academics and being a good citizen!

On this day take a moment and give thanks for those who have served and are currently serving our country. These are the ones who secure our freedoms. All gave something, and some gave their all. If you know a Vet reach out and say ‘Thanks!’.

USA Volleyball Iowa Region activities on hold until 10 December. If restrictions on club activities are lifted at that time and the Burlington School District is back in the classroom we’ll revisit Grayhound Volleyball Club tryouts. Hang in there!

We’re still here although club volleyball is on hold at least through 10 December. We’ll update as soon as news is received. Stay positive and keep the faith!

Update. USA Volleyball/club ball ‘’hold” extended through midnight 16 December. Burlington School District heading back to the modified in-class schedule Monday so we should know next week if gyms will be available. We’ll keep you advised.

Now that we will be back in school on Monday, we are going to look to schedule tryouts as soon as possible. This season is still up in the air and final decisions have not been made as to what the full season will look like. More to come.
