I just had to call a parent about their child’s concussion protocol & Ryan had the opportunity to listen to me get absolutely berated by a parent for simply trying to keep their child safe. It took everything he had in him not to grab the phone & give him a piece of his mind 😂

Overheard bench convos from basketball this evening: Player 1 “it’s so dumb, I’ve done that 3 times and have gotten called for a foul every time.” Player 2 “so then why do you keep doing it?” He has a point 😂😂

I decided to field my baseball team’s BP today….I threw one ball in and threw my back out 😂😂 is this what old age is like?

Ryan sent me a video of a man caught spiking a woman’s drink with a note;“make sure to keep an eye out for this”… I had to break it to him that the reality of being a woman is that I’ve been aware of this risk for as long as I can remember & it’s always on my mind when I’m out.

Working PRN VB… kid comes up, split his chin open & def needs a few stitches. I tell coach/dad & coach goes, “okay but like, what if he didn’t go get stitches & still played?” You mean after he keeps bleeding all over the place & has a jagged scar on his face for life? Cmon 🙄

Covering a rugby match & the visiting team is from England. They show up, have their own first aid kit, & start covering their own turf burns, applying KT tape, putting on bio freeze you name it. Literally came from a diff country & didn’t even need me. I’m impressed.
