We start in D7. Walshe’s slapped up a perfect pint. Small shop with a different layout to most but good vibe and good staff. The pints were great and hope to be back. It’s more popular now than ever but there’s a reason why. Good shop.

Redmonds at the Bay in Visit Rosslare Harbour - good local pub with holiday makers dotted around plenty of regulars on a Monday night. Great pint, atmosphere and nothing but friendly staff. €5:50 a pint seems cheap compared to Dublin these days too.

The Hill Pub Ranelagh Ranelagh - nice bright friendly pub. Fairly decent pint (€6:50) with a nice atmosphere and decent tunes in the background when not too busy.

My seafood shack is being forced to close because of the need for a bus stop. My heart is broken to be honest about it. I’m there 8 yrs with no issues. I was given notice on Monday to be gone by 22nd May. I’m just not one bit happy but getting lots of online support.

The pint was OK but the barman was top class. Big fan of Irish rugby and some say ahead of the game. 10/10.

Mountpleasant Inn - Corrigans. Great pint with a local crowd. €6:20 but added value to hear the local chats. Didn’t try the lounge but seems like a proper old schools spot

O’Connells in Poertobello. Absolutely lovely pints in a friendly pub with a good atmosphere and stellar staff. Spotless pub and old school vibes in an area packed with modern bars.

A fine pint in Peter's Pub - a busy spot that never feels too crowded. Top bar staff with good pints 👍

Bowes Lounge and Bar - place was packed but the crowd come and go. Service never stopped and staff saw you coming and knew the order. Top spot. LVA has a good member there

Where is the best spot for a Monday pint?

The Lower Deck on a Sunday. Nice crowd and atmosphere and staff that know what they’re at. First time in and will return, solid pints.
