NE Houston is TIRED OF BEING RESILIENT. We want Equal Protection. If Htown funds #DrainageJustice and increases LDP, Sylvester Turner can leave a great legacy! Please #DivertFloodsNotFunds
#DrainageJustice is a key part of racial justice in Houston, but 88% of all open ditches are in BIPOC communities. Separate can never be equal. City of Houston can address this long running injustice in the #FY24 budget. Increase LDP by $20mil. Tarsha Jackson we are behind you!
Houston! Flooding is the most concerning issue to most Houston residents. CoH Budget should address that by increasing funding for Local Drainage Projects by $20 million, so that Houston Public Works can address “worst first” #DrainageJustice #FY24
West Street Recovery and NAC are doing their part, cleaning ditches, filing #TitleVI complaints, advocating for their communities. We need more than lip service, we need investment from the city of Houston! Maybe the biggest budget surplus ever should be used to fund #DrainageJustice.

TY to Houston Mayor's Office for saying that SWAT will increase 20 million in the #FY24 budget. WE actually need it to be in the budget tho, as of now its not! And, To meet the worst first principle of Build Houston Forward, LDP funding needs to go up too! And the #DrainageJustice
Climate change is here, and Houstonians say that flooding is their #1 concern. It’s time for City of Houston to reflect the will of the people in the budget! Invest in #DrainageJustice
