We had a beautiful Cheesefare Sunday and our San Francisco weather added to the ambience! Some of us kept the celebration going by passing out espresso to neighbors and passersby all afternoon. We'll be back at 6:30 for Forgiveness Vespers and the beginning of our Lenten journey!

As we begin the 2nd day of saving abstinence, we cry to Thee, O Lord: Fill the hearts of us Thy servants with compunction, and accept our prayers offered to Thee in fear. Grant that we may successfully complete the course of the fast, and bestow upon us cleansing and great mercy.
