Last week some S5 girls went to the CMS International Women’s Day Masterclass. The girls heard some inspiring stories from keynote speaker Jennifer Reoch and overall had a really interesting and engaging day out! 🤝🏻🗣️

S1’s have been working on an enterprise project, making their own cereal brands. We talked a lot about the important part that packaging plays in advertising a product as we designed our own cereal boxes today. 🥣🗣️

S2 D, E and F had the chance to showcase their enterprise skills to each other by pitching their bath bombs business to one another. It was great to see everyone’s hard work come together! 🤗🗣️

Higher Admin spent their last period in class yesterday playing revision pong! Pupils had lots of fun and it was a great way to get some of the main concepts to stick before exam leave! 🏓🏆

S1’s have just completed they’re exciting cereal enterprise project! The end results turned out great! 🤗

S1’s have been working on the marketing mix. This week we learnt about the “Product” section by designing our own Disney T-Shirts

S2’s spent their last few lessons in IT creating word processing thank you cards to give to their favourite teacher before changing timetable. The messages pupils wrote were so lovely to read, I hope the recipients enjoyed getting them! 🥰

S3 business created some great business ideas yesterday. They even managed to solve any problem that came their way when they were handed wild cards containing problems relating to the 3 internal factors. 👏🏻

End of term fun meant that S2 business got to design their own departmental logo. Here is some of their amazing work! 👏🏻

Yesterday 7 pupils from our Senior Growing Future Assets Teams went to the launch event at Aegon AM where they made links with industry experts and learnt all about the world of investment! Thanks to Aegon for hosting this event and good luck to all girls in the competition!

Huge well done to our Business Management pupils who took part in the Higher Business Live Workshop. They explored intercultural business communication, tackled interactive challenges, and presented their work in the lecture theatre — finishing an amazing 2nd place overall! 🥈

Our Growing Future Asset teams had a great time at Aegon AM today meeting with their mentor and the team. It was a very well organised and informative day. Thanks to Aegon for having us! ☺️

Last week 13 senior girl pupils attended the Diversitek Event hosted by the NatWest group and Red Hat at the RBS Business School. The event aimed to inspire and empower young female pupils, by highlighting the many different pathways that can lead into a career in Technology

S1’s are working on the Marketing Mix and produced some amazing T-Shirt’s as their products. Our faculty prefects helped display the S1’s work in class and it turned out great! 💚

S2’s from Miss Harrison’s classes have finished the bath bombs unit and will get to take their complete product home! Pupils are excited to show off all their hard work✨🌟

S1’s are currently working on the Place element of the marketing mix. Today they had fun building a store for their Disney T-shirt. Some groups chose to be in a retail park and some chose to be in a shopping centre. This was an interactive way to put theory into practice! 😎

S3 Business Management put their theory into practice this week by using job production to make and test paper aeroplanes ☺️✈️

S1 Business created a Disney theme park in groups on Minecraft today. They thought about the different things that a theme park needed and ensured they included a large car park! Really impressed with the results 🖤🎢🎡
