What do you guys think about a leveling system where as you use skills each skill used gains exp and passively level on their own, but the player also gains general exp and can allocate those points to whichever skills they see fit? #indiegames #videogames #indiegame

Took a few weeks, but created a junk system for #ATimeBeforeKings! The player can now mark items in their inventory as junk, and sell all junk to the shop. Plan on expanding this to the crafting systems as well. Also started drawing the world map! #gamedev #indiegame

The player in #ATimeBeforeKings can now collect orbs of light from enemies and deposit them at shrines of light (just a rectangular box for now). There will be a shrine at every town in the game. The idea is the player is returning the light that was stolen as the shadow
