June Junior Camp Week 3: Drivers! This past Friday morning, the campers learned all about hitting the driver and went to a tee box to learn about setting up for their drives!

RIVER COURSE STILL CLOSED ⚠️😭 Unfortunately the trees and limbs clogged up a lot on the bridge from the flooding we had, and cleanup is going to take at least all day today. We will keep everyone posted about timing for getting started tomorrow morning.

Forgot to post week 1 of Junior Camp last week so we combined the first two weeks of our July camp into this post! Week 1 was chipping and putting! Week 2 the kiddos learned proper grip, stance, and other basic mechanics for swinging the irons!

Unfortunately the storms we've had today (a bit surprising to be honest) have caused Blue River to get high again and it's continuing to rise. Due to this, we have to close the River Course for the rest of the day. 🌧️🌧️🌧️ We will keep you posted on conditions for tomorrow.

🚨 Tuesday Morning (7/22) Course Update 🚨 The River has receded, but the debris has stayed on the bridge, extending the whole bridge. We will need to keep the River course closed for our maintenance crew to cleanup the debris and will check again early afternoon around 2p.

Our third week of junior camp on Friday looked a little different with the storms we had, but the 8a group got to try out the simulator inside, and the 10a got to sneak out to the range to hit drivers!

Heads up for tomorrow morning (Saturday)! We have a Footgolf tournament happening all morning long that will cause closure of the Footgolf/Rock Courses. Once completed, the courses will reopen. Please be mindful when coming out to the golf course.

AERATION UPDATE!! Due to the rainy weather today, the River course aeration will be moved to tomorrow. The course will be closed most of the day. The River will remain closed today due to wet conditions. The Rock Course aeration will move to Monday the 15th.

🚨 DRIVING RANGE UPDATE! 🚨 Starting today, we will be mats only for the remainder of this year and until next spring. Having reseeded our grass on the range, although it looks great, we need to keep it from being demolished by golfers so it'll look great for the next year!
