Sometimes the only time I get to see @tooleykj and Finnegan is when the meet me at the subway and walk me to another hospital. Or when we stop on the side of the road for a snack between surgeries like we did today :-) It’s a crazy life you guys!! .

Dreaming about taking a nap 😴 Guys- do you ever get sick as soon as a stressful or hectic time in your life ends? This is SO me. As soon as a busy period ends and I get a little break, I get sick!! I woke up this morning with a terrible sore throat and general malaise 😩.

This is a good story. Yesterday, I was dictating in the women physician lounge and at the end of my dictation I said “thank you very much” - just like I always do when I finish dictating.

😂😂 Real life right here. An actual photo husband @tooleykj snapped of me, dead on the couch after a long day, eating strawberry licorice (my fav candy ever), with my sweet puppy, talking on the phone to one of my mentors about one of our crazy cases.

Always trying to find time to fit in some extra work. Sometimes that means on the floor of the OR between cases 😂. I’m usually writing papers, editing papers, reviewing papers for journals, returning emails, reading articles, or studying for boards 😬.

Sundays fundays! In all reality I’ve been cooped up working on a grant all day, but I did get out for a workout and for a walk with the pup ☺️. Wishing everyone a happy end to your weekend and a very happy !! ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜

Springtime weekends in New York City🌷💐! Coffee☕️, a few patients to see, long walks, and sunshine☀️- does it get any better!? I wore my new @danielwellington watch this weekend which is quickly becoming my work watch of choice.

That concludes a successful day on Capitol Hill advocating for our patients! We spoke with multiple legislators about issues ranging from prescription drug prices to NIH funding, to prior authorization regulations.

When you become your co-fellow’s patient and have way too much fun! 💉💉 Today is match day for @asoprs_society and my cofellow @godfrey_kj and I cannot wait to welcome a new future oculoplastic surgeon into this family. 🎉

Weekend workouts 💪🏻 Always the best study break 🤓. What are your favorite ways to sweat? I adore yoga, tolerate cardio, and begrudgingly lift weights if someone is yelling at me 😂
