Leg again passes a bill to exempt NYC school construction from the Wicks Law which requires the prep. and bidding of four separate contracts on certain public projects. This exemption is important bc it saves NYC money. If it saves the city $$, why aren't all schools exempt?

Congress made some moves last night! The House passed the Social Security Fairness Act and the Senate passed Secure Rural Schools reauth! There are still more hurdles to overcome but this is good progress. MOre here: aasa.org/advocacy/blog/…
