For far too long Ontario governments have favoured well-connected developers, corporations, and the ultra-wealthy. At the expense of everyone else. It’s time to put people first.

The horrible conditions and ongoing deaths in long-term care show that little action was taken since the first wave of COVID-19. We need to take profit out of long-term care. Making money should never be more important than the lives and dignity of our loved ones.

#COVID19 numbers are higher than ever. LTC is a humanitarian crisis. Vaccinations are lagging. MPPs need to return to the legislature to take real actions, like using billions in unspent funds to save people in LTC, support small biz & provide a more robust vaccine roll-out plan.

Doug Ford is sitting on billions of unspent funding and is resistant to action to save lives. We need the legislature to get back to work now to take concrete actions to stop the spread and save lives, protect people in long-term care, and fix Ontario’s lagging vaccines program.
