Today, we release the beta version of our very own bugbounty platform HitBounty. This has been in the works for quite some time with consultations with various stakeholders. This becomes the very first bb platform in Africa & as we say, "Africa is our business" 1/n

We've been working on this for a considerable amount of time now & I am happy to announce the release of the Beta version. I know I have a number of researchers on my timeline & I hope this will change the face of security in Africa. I'll be sharing more about HitBounty today

So, yesterday alone we had 44 researchers register HitBounty. In my view, this is an honest vote of confidence on the platform & I hope that it is timely. This morning, I'll talk about the benefits of a BB platform to a researcher 1/n

We understand your excitement to start hunting & are proud of the more than 60 accounts created within 24 hours of our launch. We also know that many of you still have no access to the platform & we promise to approve your accounts ASAP. All we ask for is your patience.

I know it's been a while since I talked about HitBounty. We are still undergoing some major platform improvements hence the delay. We have an ETA of at least 2 months before we can officially go live & open up to the general public. 1/2
