Curriculum for life with year 8 today explored being unique and it’s ok to be different. Some great thoughts and reflections!

Today some year 8 and 9 students took part in a Black History Month workshop hosted by Bolton Wanderers in the community. Students discussed the importance of Black History Month and then created their own art work showcasing a black historical figure.

Year 8 and year 9 students attended Toughsheet Stadium today to complete their Black History Month Workshop and celebration. They even had a tour of the stadium.

Today students in key state 3 spent time reflecting on and learning about the upcoming Remembrance Day. Students across the school then created Remembrance Day poems.
