Want to know an industry that survived the last UK recession just fine? Weddings. Worth over £10.5bn to the economy every year. If Rishi Sunak can bridge the gap past COVID restrictions then we will continue to contribute and work our socks off to support you. #whataboutweddings

We're hearing tonight from sources that tomorrow, the PM will announce that wedding receptions for 30 people CAN restart from Saturday 15th. We're looking forward to formal confirmation tomorrow but this feels like a win tonight. Don't let us down Boris Johnson #whataboutweddings

The wedding industry needs backdated compensation, which should continue until restrictions on our sector are lifted. Enough is enough. 9 months of being ignored and pushed aside. Why? It’s not as if we don’t make a significant contribution to the economy. So.... why?

No more lies, no more excuses! It’s time to listen to the people you’ve caused absolute devastation to Rishi Sunak. If you don’t support the #ExcludedUK with this new lockdown you will have many deaths on your hands. It’s that simple. The rest is down to you HM Treasury.

Loans (BBL and CBILS) are due to be paid back in just a few months. Unless sectors restricted heavily are permitted to reopen fully then repayment should be delayed. Moreover, they should be extended until recovery has kicked in with businesses. Which now will be 2022.

Following the Glastonbury cancellation, we're asking everyone to help by RTing, to raise awareness of the fact that since last March, @rishisunak has refused to provide financial help to 600,000+ events staff, and a total of 3m #ExcludedUK. We are being ignored in to poverty.

It is absolutely vital that Boris Johnson includes weddings in his 22nd February plan. The roadmap is crucial for couples and for businesses because the current lack of confidence is causing huge issues. Really, are we contemplating losing a £14.7bn industry for lack of a plan?

Absolutely agree - it's vital that weddings are included in the 22nd February announcement. We need to keep keeping up so that we can't be ignored. Now is the time to ask #whataboutweddings

If weddings don’t restart by April then tens of thousands of business won’t survive. A female led industry employing people in every corner of the UK will crumble. It’s as simple as that. The financial support to pull us through having had nothing for a year will need to be huge.

ITV News looking to speak to couples who don't feel there was enough clarity on weddings yesterday - or are angry that they can only have 30 guests while 1,000 person indoor events are allowed in May/June. If that's you - please get in touch. What About Weddings #whataboutweddings
