WHY is it useful to KNOW πŸ“Š your MAXIMAL AEROBIC CAPACITY❓❕

As with this example, we have 2 ATHLETES with the same ↔️ MAXIMAL OXYGEN CONSUMPTION. BUT, they reached that VO2max at two different running speeds ( 13 vs 16 km/h ) 😲!

This may impact their INTERVAL TRAININGβœ….

IT DEPENDS:

βœ… If you want EXACT measurements
➑️ LET’S GO TO THE LAB!

OR

βœ… If an estimation will do, and you do not really need the oxygen measurement?
➑️ Any of these β€œfield” tests, time trials or short all-out efforts will do!
