We have a Lenten menu prepared for our historic cooking demonstration tomorrow: Gumbo D'Herbes (green gumbo), shrimp pie, fried cod, corn bread rusk, and more. All recipes come from Creole Cookery, the second oldest cookbook in New Orleans, from The Woman's Exchange in 1885.
