As we head into the longest night of the year, it’s helpful to remember that feeling blue is courageous, like this blue lion. And doing something today in the daylight that gets my body moving is helpful for my mental health. What are you doing to celebrate Blue Christmas?

May you put yourself 1st today. If you aren’t your most cared for self, you can’t be fully present for other people. Cheering you on to 1st place!!

There are people in my life that make me leap for joy and delight when I think of them and it makes me think of this scripture. Blessings for the people in our lives who spark the desire to leap in our bodies for joy. Who or what sparks this kind of joy in your life?

I often see posts of clergy leaving their calls and celebrating moving to their new homes and calls. I rarely see posts about clergy moving to on leave from call and celebrating waiting for their next call. What we don’t talk about is clergy being homeless. We need to do better.

May love expound to all unconditionally in everything that you do. May you recognize the struggle, the challenge and growth as part of the process of unconditionality. May you find a way of loving that part of the process when your instinct is to resist it. I celebrate you!!

Spending time with friends is important to me as it reflects ways that our lives intersect & diverge in beautifully spectacular ways. May you find a space today that amplifies your curiosity, wonder and delight allowing you to notice the ways you influence and impact the world.
