Remember this isn’t a contest. Even some teachers make things worse by how much time they spend online or all the bells and whistles they can show. Remember there are no awards & not a competition. Everyone is trying to survive the best they can. Guilt shouldn’t be part of it.

I just spent the better part of 7 hours listening to my county school board meeting. My superintendent deserves a new title: super hero. He handled that with calm and grace. I don’t envy his position, but I stand with and support my superintendent 100%!

Recess, play, PE, & the Arts are not just important for children to grow emotionally, socially, and academically, but for some students these may be the main or only reason they enjoy coming to school.
