a brow risen, she looks up from her phone with a small chuckle. “you know… that’ll just spook you more right?”

“right.” she laughed softly, eyes down on the book. maybe it would be helpful. they needed more of a detective manual if anything. “you have fun with that, nancy drew.”

“thelma and louise? i think… that story is a bit more wild than you realise… i thought you were going to say velma and daphne.” she moved over to sit next to the blonde with a soft smile.

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ a laugh leaving her own lips she joined hanna by leaning against the headboard too. “does this mean we’re velma and daphne? what does that make spence and aria?”

“are you shaggy?” she gently nudged the blonde, the connection she felt with hanna compared to the other girls was something else entirely.

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ “without question, i am your fred.” she glanced back down at the book, she was probably on to something. with the book that is.

“always.” she gently reached down, taking the others hand to give it a squeeze. but she let go shortly to avoid it seeming awkward.

her cheeks heated up as the other took her hand again, hanna was so sweet to her. she didn’t know what she did to deserve a friend like her. “i hope so too.” she said softly, moving her hand a little to lock their fingers. friends did this too right? or did she just make it gay.
