Caballero was a big positive last year. He’s been an absolute dud this year and keeps wasting ABS challenges. Thought he had a real chance to run away with the SS position and has handed it back to Volpe once he returns.

The offense right now is going as bad as it gets. No one is putting together quality ABs what so ever. It’s just non competitive from 1-9 and the lineup v lefties isn’t much better. It’s comical Grisham and grichuck are on this roster over Domínguez.

Not hitting for grichuck makes zero sense. It just shows now what they really think of McMahons bat to let the righty still stay in to face the righty. It’s 2026 and it sure feel like 2025 problems again.

That great Yankee defense turns into 3 runs and Warren can’t pick them up another 4 innings or less start. The way this is going the bullpen is going to be shot by July.

Boone stinks has no feel for the game in most spots. At the same time this is all on cashman he constructed this roster and ran it back. Yea you can say it’s only April for that crowd but it’s all the same problems as every year. When does he get held to the fire ?

Oswaldo Cabrera should be up with this team. Not only can he provide utility play at multi positions and play them well. Having his bad as a SH is a big plus.

Jazz was hitting .177 coming into that about. In a contract year he has been abysmal with the bat. 50/50 though.
