In the latest from the Merton MCR pizza challenge, the Italian household crafted some pieces inspired by 1) the crest & 2) Merton's much-adored puppy Geoffrey Biscuit Geoffrey Biscuit! A great household ice-breaker, after the first (very stimulating!) meeting with my supervisor

Delivered my first ever Work in Progress paper today, to the Ancient History Graduate WiP! Really glad of the stimulating discussion afterwards & for such great peers, & the chance to think more deeply about population displacements (Messene pictured here, from BSA UG Course 18!)

Gave my first conference paper today! Was very special to talk at a joint conference with Princeton, the institution where Prof Christian Habicht lectured and whose corpus of late fourth-century Samian inscriptions I based my talk on!

It's been a while, but put down some reflections on a fantastic exhibition in Heraklio this summer on prehistoric seafaring, while volunteering with the BSA at the Stratigraphical Museum, Knossos! So grateful to the team there for such a great experience & making this possible :)
