During lockdown, I wrote 30k words about VAR and measurement theory. No-one wanted to publish it - they all said it was mad.

But offsides like this Coventry one mean I can't stop thinking about it.

3 major issues.

And now Liverpool seem to be more worried about losing possession than losing the game.

It feels like teams nowadays are so conditioned to pass short at every moment, even when they need an equaliser they never go direct.

Time and again Arsenal refused to cross it and instead turned and found a simple option.

Very real prospect of SunRisers Hyderabad breaking the record again today.

They’re 217-2 after 16 overs with Klaasen on 60 off 27.

Reminder - they scored 277-3 earlier in the tournament against Mumbai.

EFL Trophy time at Wembley, and a wonderful story up front for Wycombe.

20-year-old Richard Kone came to the UK in 2019 and represented Ivory Coast in the Homeless World Cup.

He started this season at ninth tier 𝗔𝘁𝗵𝗹𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗰 𝗡𝗲𝘄𝗵𝗮𝗺 𝗙𝗖, and today starts at Wembley.

Some punchy stuff from Kagiso Rabada about the schedule clash that saw a weakened South Africa team go to the Test tour of New Zealand.

Football’s march towards sharing the same production values as AC/DC making good progress at West Ham tonight.
