It was great to start the summer term exploring adaptive teaching techniques with teachers from Bristol and Bath/North Somerset. Hedging (multiple possible answers) to arithmetic questions was a crowd pleaser in KS1 when considering how to take learning deeper. White Rose Education

Year 3 have been struggling with their add/sub of 3 digit numbers. Using a consolidation week from White Rose Education schemes of learning, we revisited the formal written methods. Some children used the place value mats for the whole lesson, while others moved on quickly

I really enjoyed teaching Y1/2 using the new mixed age White Rose Education resources today. The split screen slides are great for challenging children in each year embedding a visualiser in the powerpoint helped me to model numbers on a place value chart for all to see!
