A holiday celebrating the end of slavery is a fine idea, but Juneteenth — a semi-obscure regional holiday — was picked because of a lefty push to make it supplant July 4 (a la the 1619 Project). That’s why it’s called “Juneteenth National Independence Day.” Want no part of that.
