On 22–23 September 2025, as a part of "Cheber: Skills Development in Kyrgyzstan" and "VET4UZ" projects, a delegation from Uzbekistan visited Bishkek to exchange experiences in both formal and non-formal vocational education and training.

On September 24, 2025, as part of the Youth United for Future project, we handed over the teacher’s manual for the course “Self-awareness and Personal Development for Adolescents” to the National Institute for the Professional Development and Retraining of Educators.

On September 26 and 27, 2025, an exchange of experience took place between the municipalities of the Issyk-Kul and Osh regions on the best practices in managing water for agriculture.

From October 13-17, 2025, representatives of Uzbekistan’s tourism sector are visiting Kyrgyzstan to explore its experience in sustainable tourism and green practices.

October 24, 2025. Roundtable discussion on gender equality and social inclusion in the municipal waste management system. The Swiss-funded “Public Service Improvement” project promotes improved quality and access to services by implementing systemic changes at the local level.

The E-COMMERCE EXPO 2025 in Bishkek - supported by the Swiss project Cheber: Skills Development - brought together Central Asian leaders in e-commerce, digital innovation, and logistics, advancing the region’s digital economy and cross-border cooperation.

As part of the Swiss-funded Public Service Improvement project local governments are sharing their ideas for inclusiveness and creating conditions for every member of society – from sports fields to educational and cultural institutions.

December 9, 2025. At a conference in Bishkek reviewing the results of the Swiss-funded Public Service Improvement Project for 2025. Municipalities participated in the grant program, which was implemented with a total budget of eighty million soms.

On December 9, 2025, we hosted the National Forum on skills validation under the Swiss-funded Cheber project - building a stronger labor market for Kyrgyzstan.
