Great to be back behind the mic with the splendid team 2020 Recordings narrating the 2nd book in Suzanne Kelman wonderful Paris Sisters series.

Saw @ChichesterFT new production of ‘Oliver!’ by Matthew Bourne and Cameron Mackintosh on Saturday. It was absolutely stellar. Transferring to the Gielgud in December. Totally recommend it.

Just released - it was a pleasure to narrate the 2nd novel in Suzanne Kelman wonderful Paris Sisters series. It has been wonderful getting to know these characters.

It was a real honour to narrate Tova Friedman’s amazing book in this version for young readers. Just 5 years old when she was sent to Auschwitz and now a grandmother in her 80s, she has devoted herself to telling her story. It is her ‘survivor’s obligation’.

The wonderful Tova Friedman. Narrating her book was truly inspiring. Tova has just turned 86, still works as a therapist and runs a TikTok channel with her grandson campaigning against antisemitism. She is truly one of life's marvels. 'My life is a gift I can not waste'.

Wimbledon Common Half Marathon. First trail race completed in 2hr 11. Scenic but very hilly and with many a big muddy puddle to be dodged. Came 2nd in my age category apparently, which I am very pleased with especially as my time included a midway pee behind a bush -all glamour!

Drama school reunion. What a joy! Cried as soon as I walked into our old local & saw everyone. We got hysterical. We had a tour round the school with a very patient guide. Got more hysterical. Then calmed down a bit, went back to the pub, had the most lovely time. ArtsEd

It was such a pleasure to meet the brilliant Anne Sebba at the recording of her wonderful book ‘The Women’s Orchestra of Auschwitz’. A very intense few days but a true privilege to be telling this remarkable story that Anne has presented in such a clear, moving & powerful way.
