As if a reaction to Volodymyr Zelenskyy / Володимир Зеленський highly successful visits to European capitals over the last days, where he was welcomed as a family member. Like with earlier such strikes, no chance to break Ukrainians’ resolve.

I welcome the deal on a new Energy Efficiency Directive that we managed to reach early this morning. We now have a strong 🇪🇺 framework to help us fully decarbonise the #EU economy. #EnergyEfficiency is not a cost, rather an investment for the future!

⚡️Despite some fears & much Russian propaganda, we have avoided energy shortages, blackouts & supply cuts over the past two heating seasons. ✅We kept the lights & heating on & have emerged stronger than before, with greater #energysecurity, solidarity & a cleaner energy mix.

No one wishes peace more than the Ukrainians. Estonia wishes it also. But there is a difference between peace & peace. The peace agreed at Yalta did not bring justice to the Baltic nations. The promises of the Munich Agreement did not stand.
