Thanks to all who attended the #REEngage19 event today. Brilliant discussions - I feel tremendously excited about the readiness of our universities to respond to the challenges ahead.

I was being shown around primary school with my parents as a 4 year old before starting reception class, at the end the teacher asked if I had any questions (about going to school). I responded, 'how do you spell 'soap'?'

Can anybody advise on this, please? Can an employer withdraw pay when working from home, if schools close? My wife's employer, which has home working policies, has told everyone that they can work from home, but not if schools close. If children are home, they will not be paid.
