This makes a lot of sense to me. You can reduce the leader monopoly (win for market structure) and vote fees stay the same per year (win for validators). What do you think Brennan Watt ?

Tim Garcia i agree it addresses many of the same issues halving slot times does. but reducing leader span is actually more complex in the Agave implementation and riskier imo. but i think Cavey should PR it and prove me wrong :D
