What a productive and inspiring day for Y10 at Sound city 2022 festival. A really good performance from ‘Delights’. Thanks to Accent Music Hub for putting this much needed day on.

There a still a few tickets left for Mary Poppins Jr tonight at The Heath. £5 adults, £2.50 children. Starts at 7pm💨☂️

Mary Poppins Jr is done. Great atmosphere at the final show. I’m off to fly a kite after I’ve had a spoonful of sugar, possibly in a small glass of ‘Brimstone & Treacle’, then…anything can happen because winds do change. Back to precision and order tomorrow… Spit Spot🪁

What a finish to the week with ELO’s Mr Blue Sky performed by Y10! You’re getting better Y10! Anyone would have thought it was world music day! Happy practising!

Y10 pupils should now be finalising their practising plans for the summer in order to maximise your component 2 submission in term 1 of Y11. Please have these conversations with your peri tutor and clearly, see me if you are unsure of how to proceed!

What an uplifting morning with Beechwood Primary school’s Brass and Woodwind players at their summer concert. The Heath can’t wait to get you started here! You were so impressive and have clearly worked very hard with great support for your music making. Fab! Beechwood Primary School

Peri music lessons have started this week. Pupils can leave their instrument in the music department at the start of the day, to save carrying it around with them.
