There is absolutely no rational reason for a 65 year old who owns their home to still be paying property taxes. It's absurd.

UPDATE #2: The SR 410/White River Bridge between Buckley and Enumclaw remains closed until further notice after a collision involving a semi. WSDOT crews are on scene assessing the bridge. Seek alternate routes.

Travel Alert: SR 410 is closed at the White River Bridge in Buckley (Aug. 18). White River Entrance & Sunrise: open via Enumclaw/Greenwater. From Tacoma/Puyallup/Buckley: long detour needed. Other park entrances are not affected.

UPDATE #3: The SR 410/White River Bridge between Buckley and Enumclaw will remain CLOSED until further notice after a bridge strike today. Bridge inspectors will do further assessment tomorrow. Follow detour signs and use alt routes including SR 164, SR 18 and SR 167.

UPDATE #12: We’re one-third through repairs on the SR 410 White River Bridge, where crews continue heating & straightening bent steel & swapping out the cross-braces that hold the bridge steady.
