Always remember it can take up to 90 mins on average to neutralise sugars you have eaten/drank ( if you are healthy and have enough saliva and brush and floss properly) . If your salvia isn't allowed to do its job to remineralise your teeth the tooth decay process starts. 🦷

JUST TO BE CLEAR 🤦🏻‍♂️ When Rishi Sunak suggested recently that ‘therapists’ help ‘reform’ NHS dentistry, he was speaking of dental therapists - highly trained dental professionals who can carry out many treatments that dentists can, to the same standard and in some cases, better.

That in the UK the dental therapists have to pass the clinical examination to the same standard as dentists. I have worked with therapists and been treated by them. The work of some therapists knocks spots off some of the work done by some dentists I have known.
