Excited to announce that abortion access is coming to the Cape & Islands! All women have a fundamental right to access safe & affordable abortion care. But on the Cape & Islands, women have been forced for years to make expensive trips off-Cape or out of state to access care.

This is a big development. The Cape & Islands have been an “abortion desert” for more than a decade

Some have called southeastern Mass. an abortion desert, with residents needing to travel to Boston or RI to access care. But with new state funding, a SE Mass nonprofit w/ 7 locations will start offering medication abortion (abortion by pill) in July: newbedfordlight.org/nonprofit-to-b…
