Crews are on scene of a working fire in a residence at 371 W. 19th. Crews made entry searched the area with heavy fire conditions and confirmed everyone was out. No injuries reported.

Fire crews are just clearing the scene of what was reported as fire in the kitchen at 1060 Lincoln, Russ’ Southtown. Dispatched at 6:25, the fire has been extinguished and the building ventilated. Additional details to be provided as they are available.

Crews were just dispatched to a structure fire at 352 Columbia. Per radio dispatch the fire originated in the oven. Crews arrived on scene and found a small fire contained in the oven. They are confirming extinguishment and venting smoke. Will clear soon.

Firefighters just cleared a possible residential fire at 126 W. 9th. No evidence of fire reported upon arrival. Further investigation on the interior of the home revealed the same. Potential furnace issue.

B Shift getting some reps in with horizontal hose stretches. These are necessary in many of our large commercial & industrial buildings. The same tasks will be utilized in mid & high rise structures.

Fire units responded to 444 West 32nd street for a residential fire. Upon arrival, crews made entry into the structure & found a working fire in a closet of a bedroom. Crews searched to make sure building was clear of occupants and extinguished it quickly. No injuries occurred.

Crews were dispatched to a residential fire in the 200 block of Calvin. Fire was extinguished shortly after arrival. Two occupants were checked on scene for smoke inhalation. Pets inside at the time of the fire are all accounted for and ok. Crews were on scene just over an hour.

Fire crews responded to a working car fire in the 800 block of E. 40th. Fire was quickly extinguished and there were no injuries. Damage was contained to the vehicle.

Crews are currently on scene at the Holland BPW waste water plant. Crews are currently investigating a chemical release. Currently believed to be no danger to the public. More information to follow.
