HCCA is hosting 5 weeks of Fantastic Free Fun for children between 2 and 3pm every Thursday. The itinerary includes a Nature Hunt, Costume Cut outs, Toilet Roll Treasures, Paper Paraphernalia and Marvellous Masks. Come along with your children and have lots of fun!

On Sunday the 2nd of September the City of Coventry Brass Band is playing in Holbrooks Park from 2-3pm. HCCA will be selling cakes and afternoon tea to raise funds for the repair of the garden. We hope you can come and enjoy the wonderful band. Thank you.

Last Wednesday HCCA and Holbrooks Library had the medal ceremony for the summer Reading challenge. We are really happy for everyone who took part and had fun. Hoping to see everyone again next year!

On Thursday of October HCC a a hosting a MacMillan coffee morning featuring an usual treat; sardine flapjacks! Please come along and support this great cause.

This week children from a local primary school came to the Library to learn about democracy and even took part in their own vote on whether or not TVs should be banned (to no ones surprise the majority voted no).
