Thinking a lot about this today

Since it’s swiftly approaching I just want to remind folks that the author of WHERE THE CRAWDADS SING and her family were the primary suspects in a shooting in Zambia in 1995 and have been advised not to return there because they’re wanted for questioning in the murder.

Do any of you do #morningpages? I know it's mostly aimed at creative writers but I'm curious if any copywriters have benefitted.

It's probably the millennial in me, but every time a client says, "You're the best" or "I appreciate you," my former service industry grinch heart grows three sizes.

Working as a writing tutor is hard because sometimes people come in and..don't know...they have to cite anything...at all....

Then my eyes get inhumanly huge in panic as I try to figure out how I can teach a grown adult 6+ years of basic composition in 50 minutes.
