Delivering on promises of better living for members of our constituency, the delivery and installment of 300kva transformers has been facilitated. These, hopefully, would influence the growth of small scale businesses with heavy reliance on electricity.

Today we kicked off the second leg of empowerment program. With our Strategic leadership training for youth of our dear constituency, we are investing in a future that begins today, a future where capable young minds are entrusted with leadership.

Yesterday, I had the honour of presenting a bill for the establishment of the federal college of nursing and midwifery, Ijero-Ekiti. The college, when established, would contribute to boosting the medical personnel workforce, ensuring the sustenance of public health standards.

As chairman of the Nigeria/Canada parliamentary cooperation, I led a delegation of distinguished reps on a parliamentary exchange visit to the Canadian House of Commons. On this visit, mutually beneficial ideas for citizens of both countries were discussed and set in motion.
