The county’s contractor is scheduled to begin night-time paving operations on RM 12 in Wimberley. A lane closure will be set up each night from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. starting Sunday night, April 14, until Friday morning, April 19, weather permitting. RM 12 will be reduced to one lane.

The Hays County Commissioners Court recently recognized the Hays County Auditor's Office for receiving the Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting and the Award of Financial Reporting Achievement from the Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA).

Heads up, Hays County! In the upcoming weeks, the FM 110 North and Yarrington Road intersection will become a four-way stop to improve safety and mobility. In the meantime, remember that FM 110 traffic does not currently stop at Yarrington Road.

Tomorrow, March 19, smoke may be visible in the vicinity of south State Highway 45 and MoPac, east of FM 1826, west of Brodie Lane, and northwest of FM 1626 from 10 a.m. to sunset. A prescribed burn is planned on approximately 230 acres of Austin Water Quality Protection Lands.
