Just listened back to The World Tonight - excellent explanation from Helen Hayes 💙🌹 MP, ruthlessly debunking the thoughtless whimsical blurtings of professional pub bore, Nigel Farage. Why his verbal diarrhoea gets any coverage is a question for others.

Oriel Chambers, Water Street, #Liverpool. One of the city's finest buildings. Designed by Peter Ellis, built in 1864 and "the world's first building featuring a metal framed glass curtain wall." So, a Scouser is the one to blame for all those big glass buildings you see around

As a Christian I am not morally opposed to assisted dying under any circumstances. But I am absolutely opposed to legislation to allow it being galloped through on a badly drafted private member’s bill. This is too important an issue to do it badly. Literally lives are at stake.

Spotted: Helen Hayes 💙🌹 repping Speech and Language UK! 💥 Thank you Helen for reiterating that what families need is reassurance and clarity from Government on SEND. It's the least they deserve given that they are already going through so much in the fight for support.

I warmly welcome additional funding in the #SpendingReview for children's social care, schools & skills. The Education Committee will scrutinise the detail in the coming weeks. I pressed the Chancellor on the situation facing some universities, vital for jobs skills & growth >>
