Tomorrow is Election Day. Tonight if you can reach out to just one person that could make all the difference in a race and the future of our state.

Wrapping up canvassing in Grand Chute I passed the Town Hall and it is packed. This election will come down to who is willing to wait in line. STAY IN LINE!!!!

Barring any unexpected updates, the breakdown in the Wisconsin State Legislature will be as follows: Senate: Republican 22 - Democratic 11 Assembly: Republican 64 - Democratic 35 This is in a year where the Democratic governor won by 3.5% and the Republican senator won by 1%.

The more that I read about turnout for the midterms the more I'm impressed with younger generations. They showed up for Democrats in this election and provided the boost for one of the most impressive midterms I can remember. Democrats need to make a point to show up for them.

🧵 Okay, Democrats, it's time to get our shit together b/c nothing—and I mean, NOTHING— is more important than the WI Supreme Court election on April 4, 2023. It's where we need to focus our effort and passion for the next five months so here are some details you'll need to know:

Happy to be getting a little more free time. I was able to crank this out in 3 days to have it for my daughter’s birthday party. Next up matching family turkey trot hats.

In the race for gov in AD-56 here are a couple interesting trends on the municipal level. Appleton and Grand Chute were evenly split and account for about 60% of the vote. That means to win you have to win Center, Dale, and Greenville. Dems need to invest in these areas.

Now my least favorite chart, looking down the ballot at % difference. Evers led the ticket but we really struggled beyond that in AD-56 and the further down the worse it got. I always said I needed to spend more time in Center and Greenville and this shows it was true.

I've enjoyed sharing the stats that I've found from AD-56. The biggest takeaway is that we have laid the groundwork for us to impact April's Supreme Court race. We have to continue to move the bar in these areas to bring back clean water and fair maps to Wisconsin.

As the World Cup starts it feels like the time to point out that just like FIFA the WI Republican Party has become a totalitarian organization that is accountable to no one. In both cases those who are most vulnerable suffer.

The rail strike makes me sad because it shows how little we learned from COVID. Once again workers who are critical to our economy have been treated as cogs in a machine rather than people. Workers who are the foundations of our economy deserve better.

I was very sad to hear Maiyoua Thao was not seeking reelection to Appleton's Common Council. I have filed the paperwork to run for her seat and look to help Appleton continue to grow and prosper.
