Year 6 had a super forest school today where they whittled sticks and toasted marshmallows.

Year 3 are enjoying their Be Internet Legends Assembly and sharing their knowledge about staying safe online 😀#BILDay ParentZone

Year 6 have enjoyed being entomologists, architects, chefs and weavers in forest school today.

Year 3 took their science learning outdoors today and investigated the use of different types of stone in our local church yard. They found marble, granite and sandstone.

We had a great time with Strider from Living Streets celebrating World Car Free Day 2025 by walking to school together #walktoschool

Year 3 had a fantastic time visiting Cruddas Park library and choosing a book to read. They enjoyed sharing their books with each other. 📚

Year 2 have had a lovely morning with their parents creating their very own Paddington Bear🐻

STEM club have been working hard engineering and building their #VEXGO robots ready to code them next week!

Year 3 had a fabulous day Great North Museum: Hancock learning about rocks and developing their own knowledge! It was great fun and the workshop was really hands on and exciting!

Year 4 have been cooking on a campfire this week! They designed and made their own pitta bread before cooking them on the campfire in forest school.

Eco club helping the environment by litter picking!

Year 4 had a lovely morning yesterday with their parents creating collages inspired by the work of artist Deborah Roberts.

A very busy forest school session today collecting fresh apples for our snack and recycling jam jars to make autumn lamps.

We were thrilled to receive our 'Walk to school' banner this week from Living Streets It is now proudly displayed on our school fence. Thank you to our Head Boys and Girls/WOW ambassadors who helped to position it.

Year 4 enjoyed the Diwali art workshop today with the talented artists from GemArts. The children created beautiful, colourful designs and learned all about the festival of lights. We can’t wait to visit the temple on Thursday to celebrate and showcase our work.
